Our Poppy Dementia Suite has been purpose-built to create a warm, welcoming, safe space to support those living with Dementia. The four-bedroom suite is located on Worsley Road, Swinton within our flagship Humphrey Booth Resource Centre, and is fully equipped to support a wide range of needs.
Facilities include four specially designed bedrooms, a spacious and airy lounge, and dining area, and an enclosed courtyard garden and walkway area. Specialist technology including circadian lighting systems, nurse call systems, and bed sensors ensure guests have a comfortable, secure stay, and our highly trained, expert staff offer round-the-clock bespoke care, tailored to each individual.
Our rooms have been fitted with modern, contemporary features and homely soft furnishings to compliment their surroundings. Each has its own colour theme throughout with a matching coloured door, to help create more familiarity and a sense of belonging in their own space. We also encourage guests to bring photos or memorabilia to place in a frame on the wall by the door, to help with recognition and to feel at home.

Room One
Room one is our largest room, particularly suitable for those with mobility issues or those who may need additional support from their carers.

Room Two
Room Two is our most accessible room, and is ideally suited for those with mobility issues.

- Fitted Furniture including Wardrobe and Drawer Space
- Lockable Medication Cabinet
Rooms 3 and 4
Rooms 3 and 4 are best suited for those without mobility issues.

Lounge Diner Area
Our modern and light lounge area has plenty of space for relaxation, activities and dining. With comfortable seating, Smart TV and large dining area it has everything needed to help guests feel at home. The area is fully accessible and leads out to our enclosed courtyard garden and circular walkway route.
Main Bathroom
All bedrooms are en-suite, and we have an additional main bathroom that is fully accessible with a ceiling track hoist and an Arjo bath with a rise and fall seat.
