We invite you to join us as we partner with RHS Garden Bridgewater for our annual Aspire ‘Forget Me Not’ Dementia Remembrance Celebration to mark Dementia Action Week on Thursday 22nd May 2025, 1 till 3pm.
Starting at 1 pm, guests are invited to a free forget-me-not seed planting activity, where they can plant seeds in pots to take home, before a short service held in the grounds of the wellbeing garden. The forget-me-not flower is a symbol of remembrance and is often associated with Dementia, blooming year after year to give a gentle reminder of those no longer with us.
Our CEO, Lisa Dickinson, Reverend Karen Owen, and volunteers will recite reflective readings in a short service before a two-minute silence to remember loved ones lost to or living with dementia. After the event, visitors can enjoy the rest of the gardens and facilities for free.
This much-loved event is an opportunity to remember and reflect together in an uplifting yet poignant manner. RHS Bridgewater is fully accessible, and everyone is welcome to join us. There is no need to book tickets; just come along on the day.
We look forward to seeing you there.
