Meet our Executive Directors
I have worked in Social Care for over 30 years in a number of roles. My background is in operations and I have been responsible for a range of service areas such as shared lives, supported accommodation and respite services.
As the Director of Compliance and Risk, it is my job to ensure Aspire complies with our external regulatory requirements and make sure we have the right internal policies and procedures in place. I report on current risk and compliance performance and work with our Internal Audit team to monitor and provide additional assurance to the Board.
I enjoy working with colleagues and our stakeholders in striving to ensure that the quality of care provided is the best it can be and I am looking forward to providing support and training to our employees to build risk awareness within the organisation.
I have worked in Health and Social Care for over 35 years in a number of different roles. My background is in operational management and I have been responsible for a range of services including day services and supported accommodation.
In my current role as the Director of Quality and Culture, it is my job to ensure that Aspire achieves the highest level of quality in all areas of service delivery in line with our Core Values and Person Centred ethos. I strive for continuous improvement and the best possible outcomes for the people we support.
I am committed to upholding the key principles of good practice in addition to the development of a highly skilled and committed workforce.
I am a CIPFA qualified accountant and my background is in finance. I worked for Salford City Council for over 33 years before moving to Aspire where I spent most of my time supporting children’s services including children’s social care with their finances. Through my work in children’s services I have a good understanding of the complexities of supporting people with learning disabilities, physical disabilites and autism.
As the Director of Business Development, I am responsible for the overall management of strategic and operational marketing, customer relationships and the development of new and innovative services that meet the needs of the local community. I will be working with our employee owners, buiding on the success of the company, increasing our existing provision and developing new person centred services for people locally.
I am excited to be working with so many kind, caring and dedicated employee owners. Meeting the people we support on a daily basis raises my spirits and reminds me of the reasons that I made the move to Apire after my long career with the council. I am looking forward to making a positive contribution towards the growth and overall sustainability of the company.
