Aspire for Intelligent Care and Support is an employee-owned Community Interest Company, established in 2015.
We specialise in supporting people living with dementia, disabilities, and learning disabilities in Salford and the surrounding area. Our support services include:
- 4 Community Hubs – St George’s, Alexandra, Brierley and Humphrey Booth
- 3 Community Cafes at Humphrey Booth, Brierley and St George’s (all Salford Age Friendly accredited)
- Weekly activity drop-in sessions at Humphrey Booth, St George’s, Alexandra and Brierley
- Autism Accredited day support services at Waterside Specialist Support
- Dementia Day Support and Dementia Drop-In Support at Poppy Dementia Support
- 16 supported living homes – providing opportunities for people to live independently as tenants in their own homes, with as little or as much support as required from our expert teams
- Short break learning disability respite support at Granville Respite Care
- Peer to Peer support through the Aspire 2 Age Better volunteer group
- Volunteering opportunities for individuals and corporate organisations
The Aspire team currently consists of approximately 250 permanent staff and approximately 50 casual staff. The team provides specialist support in dementia and autism spectrum disorder, including Asperger’s, total communication, moving and handling, and more.
