Support Worker – Granville Respite Care, Learning Disability and Autism Services

Eccles, Salford | Full Time – 35 hours per week over 7 days

£12.31 per hour (Pay Award pending)

Aspire provides extraordinary support for exceptional people living with Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or complex health needs in Salford and the surrounding areas. We offer a range of day services, respite care, supported living, and community and carer support, helping people to live their lives, their way. We are passionate about supporting people to achieve their own personal goals, dreams, and ambitions.

We would like to welcome enthusiastic and motivated Support Workers to join our Learning Disability Services team at Granville Respite Care- our purposefully designed, 12 bedroom home from home, which offers respite care and short breaks to people living with Learning Disabilities, Autism and complex care needs. We work in a busy and varied environment where no two days are the same, providing bespoke, personalised care for the people we support, helping them to live their lives to the full.

You could find yourself supporting someone to enjoy an afternoon of arts and crafts, spending time outdoors in our leafy gardens, supporting people to take part in light exercise sessions or heading for a day out to a local attraction or activity. Some people we support require assistance with personal care and daily living tasks including feeding and administering of medication. This role may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a shift rota basis.

You don’t need to have previous experience or qualifications in health and social care. We are looking for people to join our diverse work team and bring their personalities into the workplace. We will provide all the training and support you will need to become an excellent support worker.

You will need to have a positive attitude, professionalism, compassion, a caring nature, and core values that match our own!

Enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for our support worker roles.
