Where do you work for Aspire?

I work at St George’s Community Hub and have been here for eight months. I previously worked as the community champion in a supermarket, within my role I organised donations and raffles. I have done thirty years in retail and after COVID, I realised I wanted a change and a job which was more rewarding.

What do you do as part of your job role on an average day?

I am a Level 2 Support Worker, so I do a variety of different things. From personal care, to organising sessions, activities and much more.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

Each day is completely different. I enjoy caring for others and love seeing other people being happy. It is a very rewarding job and the staff team have been so welcoming and helpful.
