Your role
I work as a Data & Systems Officer. My primary responsibilities include managing data, implementing systems, and supporting our teams by providing technical guidance and data-driven insights. Each day, I aim to make technology more accessible and valuable to our teams, empowering them to work more effectively.
Where do you work?
I split my time between Humphrey Booth Resource Centre and St. George’s Community Hub, but I’m often based at Humphrey Booth. It’s a great environment, and working across multiple sites offers me a variety of experiences and challenges, which keeps my role dynamic and engaging.
Why did you apply for the role?
I was drawn to this role because of the opportunity to contribute to an organisation undergoing a digital transformation. I’m passionate about technology and it’s potential to make processes smoother and more efficient, so I was excited to be part of a team dedicated to making a real difference through digitalisation. I wanted a role where I could apply my technical skills while helping others understand and maximize the use of digital tools.
What are you looking forward to in your new role?
I’m looking forward to supporting the organisation as it transitions to a fully digitalised system. I enjoy the process of adapting systems to meet real-world needs, and I’m excited to work with various teams to implement changes that will enhance our daily operations. I thrive in a setting where I can problem-solve and create solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness, and I’m eager to contribute to a future where we operate seamlessly in a digital environment.
A little bit about your career background?
Before joining here, I gained experience in a large-scale corporate environment, where I applied my technical skills to support data-driven decision-making and enhance operational processes. Additionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Business Analytics, which has equipped me with the expertise to effectively manage data systems and drive improvements across operations.
What is life like Outside of Work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, often going out for nights out or joining local events to socialise and meet new people. I also play ping pong and participate in a few clubs where I can relax and enjoy friendly competition. I like staying active and being part of various societies, which allows me to connect with others and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
