Are you looking for dementia-friendly activities in Salford? Humphrey Booth Resource Centre is the place to be, with its age-friendly, welcoming atmosphere, fully accessible facilities, a community café, and lots of activities perfect for older people and people living with dementia. Our handy guide highlights some of the best activities available in Salford!

Having dementia doesn’t mean you have to stop doing the activities you enjoy or taking up new ones. Sometimes you may need to make small adjustments to ensure you have the best experience, but it is important to find an activity you like, whether that is sitting in a café enjoying a cake and a coffee or taking part in a creative activity.

At Humphrey Booth Resource Centre, we run daily dementia friendly activities that bring people with dementia, or those wishing to enjoy an active retirement, together.

If you are wondering what the term ‘dementia-friendly’ means, let us explain. All of our staff are dementia awareness trained, they are understanding, supportive and will always go the extra mile to help you. Humphrey Booth Resource Centre is a purposely designed, welcoming community hub with added extras to help make life easier for those with dementia, like a clear spacious layout and directional picture signage, and all our activities focus on helping people to age well, remain active and enjoy time with others in a supportive environment.
