Peel Park

Peel Park is situated in Salford. It is the oldest public park in the city. It is a loop trail and is used by the public for walks, runs and nature trips. The park features a monument and a river.

Buile Hill Park Walk

Buile Hill Park is situated in Salford, Pendlebury. Buile Hill is a grade II listed public park. It is the largest and second oldest public park in the city. 

There is a path around the park which is flat and accessible. There are other facilities such as a tennis court, an outdoor gym and a childrens play area. There is also a car park in the grounds. 

Dogs are able to visit Buile Hill Park.

Clifton Country Park is situated in Clifton.

Salford Quays 

Salford Quays is a great place to visit with a unique waterfront. 

There is a flat surface around the quay which allows you to do a loop and take in the waterfront and magnificent buildings. After your stroll, you can always grab a bite to eat from the many restaurants or cafes.

Monton to Roe Green Loopline 

Monton to Roe Green loopline starts in Monton and ends in Worsley. It is a walk where you will see old railways, lighthouses and barges. 

The loop walk starts and ends in Monton. It follows a path, before returning down the Bridgewater canal path. There are lots of lovely cafes and pubs in Monton and Worsley to visit after your walk. 

Dogs are allowed. It also has a car park at the start of the walk on Dukes Drive in Monton.  

The walk is accessible and wheel chair friendly.
